What You Will Love Doing

Design and Fabrication of Micro Devices
• Work on preliminary proof of concept ideas and execute experiments to generate feasibility results
• Work on the project milestones and deliverables
• Write technical reports and specifications for processes
• Support in Solid works
• Coordinate efforts between the company and consultants or vendors

Process Characterization and Optimization
• Develop test protocols and reports
• Develop manufacturing documents
• Run the design control processes

What You Will Bring

• BS/MS degree, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in the design, fabrication, optimization, and operation of Micro-Electro-Mechanical-System (MEMS) is highly desirable
o Experience with photolithography processes including thin film deposition techniques (for metal, dielectrics and photoresist) and photo mask design
o Dry and wet silicon etching techniques
o Metallization deposition techniques
o Characterization of micro fabrication processes (SEM, profilometry, etc.)
o Process control and data analysis
o Processing polymers, epoxies and silicones
o Operating in a clean room environment
o Clean room safety procedures
• Excellent organizing skills to lead team for projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary groups of technology innovators and engineers
• Ability to put project plans together which would include deadlines, manpower and budget details
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency with Solid works
• Knowledge of FDA/ISO for medical devices
• Familiarity with manufacturing and quality assurance procedures
