Since 2001, the College of Engineering has been at the forefront of a successful effort to increase the number of engineering and computer science graduates. Currently our growth rate in the number of engineering and computer science degrees is three times the national average.

Thanks to our alumni, corporate partners and friends, the college is well positioned for continued growth. New buildings, capital improvements, and additional faculty and staff have all added capacity. We remain committed to providing the best educational environment possible for students and to addressing the workforce shortage with a goal of a 100 percent increase in the number of degrees. We have already grown 86 percent since 1999. With your help, we can achieve and exceed this goal in the foreseeable future.

An engineering alumnus and donor recently told me that his years at the U back in the 1960s were a transformative experience in his life. Perhaps you feel the same, as I know I do. Help me provide such experiences for today’s students by supporting the College of Engineering.

Please take a moment to review the College’s Priorities & Goals. Making a gift is very easy, as you will see under the Ways to Give section. When making a gift, remember that if you work for a matching gift company, your gift may be increased by your company’s match.

For personal help on giving options, please also feel free to contact Marilyn Davies, Director of Development at 801-581-7194.
