Major: Chemical Engineering

Hometown: Logan, Utah

Why I'm an Engineering Ambassador

Engineering is a profession that opens up doors. I would like to encourage women, minorities, and first generation college students to consider engineering as a discipline.

What I'm working on

I worked as an intern at Micron Technology for the summer getting a taste of the fast-paced world of semiconductors.

Why I like the U's College of Engineering

The University of Utah has a very supportive engineering program. There are lots of opportunities to get involved, and the faculty is supportive of students.

What I plan to do

I plan on working in industry as a chemical engineering. I hope to attend graduate school or law school in the future.

Do you have any hobbies outside of studying, working and attending school?

I enjoy being involved in campus activities ranging from Alternative Spring Break to engineering organizations like Tau Beta Pi. In my free time I like to go rock climbing, camping, hiking, and be in the great outdoors.
