The College of Engineering wishes mechanical engineer Zane Beadles (B.S. ’10) well as the Denver Broncos’ offensive guard prepares to meet the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII.

The Feb. 2 game marks Beadles’ first Super Bowl appearance. As a fourth-year player, he has started in 62 games, was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2012, and was named to The Sporting News’ All-Rookie team in 2010.

During his Ute football career, the starting offensive lineman played 51 games where his dedication earned him several accolades including three All-Mountain West conference selections and All-America honors.

Beadles has also made an impact off the field, by establishing the Zane Beadles Parade Foundation. The Denver-based non-profit enriches the lives of youth facing unfortunate situations, gifting them with experiences and opportunities they may otherwise not have the chance to enjoy.

College of Engineering friends and fellow alums will be excitedly cheering on #68 as Beadles and the Broncos take the field in Super Bowl XLVIII.
