The University of Utah ranked #34 of the 35 U.S. universities for engineering and technology in the 2013-2014 Times Higher Education World University rankings for engineering and technology and #89 of 100 engineering and technology universities worldwide.

The U joins fellow PAC-12 members Stanford, Berkeley, UCLA, University of Washington and University of Colorado in the Times engineering and technology ranking top 100, which evaluates world-class universities across their core missions.

In particular, the Times ranking for engineering and technology studies 13 performance metrics to “provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons available.”

As a whole, the U placed at #143 of 400 universities in the world rankings.
